Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Curia, I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel that strikes a balance between value and a touch of luxury, nestled within a remarkable park. Surrounded by a lush forest and a serene lake, this hotel offers the perfect backdrop for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. The hotel's ambiance evokes a timeless charm, fostering tranquility. While some facilities exhibit signs of age, this only enhances the atmosphere. Cleanliness is a priority, and the staff, particularly the administrator Carina, provide warm hospitality, readily assisting with inquiries. The free bicycle rentals are a delightful way to explore the beautiful natural surroundings. Dining is pleasant, with reasonably priced offerings-soup for €2 and main dishes for around €12, perfect for those mindful of their budget. The breakfast was a commendable spread, featuring both variety and quality. The hotel lacks the bells and whistles of high-end resorts, but factors like free parking and a 24-hour reception enhance its practicality. This hotel represents an affordable getaway with essential comforts that far exceed its price point, making it a wise choice for travelers seeking relaxation amidst nature.
